Resolved Question: Help! I'm leaving on a roadtrip in 48 hours and I need advice on fun stopping points along the way!?

My boyfriend and I will be driving half-way across the country and we want to find neat places along the way to stop at. It is just the two of us - no kids - and we like small adventures and even quirky side attractions. The problem is we have no idea where to go! Although we really want to see the country, we are also on a tight time schedule so we would prefer places that don't take the whole day (2 hour max?). Here is our route: 1. Columbia MO to Tuscon AZ. Hwy 44 through Springfield MO & Tulsa OK. Hwy 40 through Oklahoma City OK, Amarillo TX, & Albuquerque NM. Hwy 25, then Hwy 10. 2. Tuscon AZ to Los Angeles CA. Hwy 10. 3. Los Angeles CA to Las Vegas NV. Hwy 15. 4. Las Vegas NV to Columbia MO. Hwy 15 to Hwy 70 all the way home (going through Denver CO, Topeka KS, and Kansas City KS). Thanks for your help!!
